Flysat stellt den Betrieb zum 18. März 2026 ein

Ich weiß was es für ein Aufwand ist, die Satelliten täglich zu scannen.
Daher hab ich damals entschieden, die Rotor Satelliten nur 1x pro Woche zu scannen, und dafür jeden Tag 2 andere.

da müsste man zumindest irgendwie die User einteilen, in "Vertrauenswürdig" und "muss man prüfen"

Gibt leider immer mal wieder Scherzkekse, die dann irgendwelchen Unsinn Melden.

Hello Dear Friend,

Please forgive me for the delay. Closing flysat.com after 25 years has been very painful for me. I haven't been able to write you a farewell message. However, you've kept me updated for months with your news and messages. I won't tire you out any more.

Writing this email is incredibly difficult for me. After years of immense effort, excitement, and shared passion, the Flysat journey has come to an end, and I have made the decision to close the website. As I navigate this farewell, looking back at what we built, you are the very first person I want to thank—because you were the true soul of this platform.

To an outsider, tracking the satellite world, transponders, and channel changes might just look like a bunch of numbers. But you and I know that this is a true passion; it requires incredible attention to detail and immense patience. For years, without ever getting tired or giving up, you consistently and faithfully sent me those updates, the most accurate satellite and frequency data.

Every single piece of information, every feed, and every frequency update you provided was the absolute lifeblood of Flysat. What kept the site alive, dynamic, and a trusted guide for thousands of people across the globe was your unparalleled dedication. Without you, this website could never have become such a vital point of reference for satellite enthusiasts worldwide. To me, you were never just a contributor sending data; you were the silent partner of this site, the greatest strength behind the screen, and my true companion in this shared passion.

While it breaks my heart to end this journey and leave behind that sweet excitement we felt behind our screens, I carry the immense pride of having gained a friend who does their work so nobly, selflessly, and flawlessly. I am wholeheartedly grateful to you for everything you contributed to Flysat, for me, and for the priceless time you dedicated to us. You will always hold a very distinct and special place in my heart.

Even though the Flysat screen is going dark, I truly hope our bond remains intact. Wherever we are in the world, please never forget that you have a friend who will always look up at the satellites and the sky with fond memories of you.

Thank you infinitely for your trust, your tremendous support, and for the countless hours of labor that shaped every single corner of Flysat. Please take good care of yourself.
